Hey ECA Cyber Range Members! What a fantastic session with @Omar Sangurima last night! Dr. Omar was back for another round of the GRC Dojo and it did NOT disappoint, if I do say so myself! Dr Omar fielded some great questions for our ECA Cyber Range members. We covered topics on certifications, hiring, GRC & AI, and all sorts of things that you will want to hear more about! I know we went for 2 hours but there's some really good content that you will want to hear! As always I'll have this recording posted in the Classroom recordings for anyone who wishes to rewatch/hear it again! Our next session was scheduled for Monday, July 6th, but I will be out on vacation with my family. And given that the weekend before is Independence Day Weekend (4th of July) I'm sure various other members might be taking an extended break as well. ECA Cyber Range Members!! Missed last night's AMA session? No you didn't!! I recorded it! And I'll store it in the Classroom recordings as soon as I can. So what did you miss? We had a couple of questions around Splunk and what is important to know for work. But we shifted into a topic that I brought up that I thought might be beneficial - Mythos. Though many think that Mythos is AI leaning, there's a lot to start picking up on, leaning, learning, and preparing for in Cybersecurity. Update for the first week of the internship program. I like the progress that everyone has been making so far with everything. Really great to see. Tomorrow is the retro Sprint call for your updates. If there is something missing for the environment. Let me know, or put it in a ticket so we can track it for the environment. Cant fix what I don't know and isn't documented. Monday will be the kickoff call for the program. So just sent out the Google Meet invites for everyone. Let me know if you didn't receive them. And then Steve will be giving you access to the backend for the servers next week so yall can configure them as well. Really looking forward to having yall start in a few days. And the Jira board is just about done as well. There should be around 35 tasks in there labeled. Which I will go over on Monday.
