Use these 7 instead to get writing that’s short and powerful:
1. “Cut this down to under 80 words without losing the key point.”
→ Brevity with impact.
2. “Rewrite this for someone who’s half-distracted and scrolling fast.”
→ Hook them before they swipe away.
3. “Turn this into 3 quick bullets a reader can grasp in seconds.”
→ Lists dominate the feed.
4. “Delete every filler word but keep the natural tone.”
→ Clean writing reads like clear thinking.
5. “Rework this so every line adds something new.”
→ No fluff. Only value.
6. “Format this for mobile so it’s effortless to skim.”
→ Most readers never see a desktop.
7. “Condense this into a headline that still demands a click.”
→ Hook first. Story second.
You don’t need shorter writing.
You need sharper writing.
