πŸ˜…Which are the 5 non negotiable tasks we need to do daily?πŸ˜… Before we start any type of decluttering we need to make sure we are on top the 5 non-negotiable daily tasks that will make our house function properly and more importantly will make us function. These are the 5 tasks you need to do daily even if you want it or not: 1🟩Put a load of laundry Here you have 2 choices: πŸ‘‰Early in the morning as I do, before I drop the kids to school/nursery πŸ‘‰Or at night times - if you work nights, or if you want to save on electricity put your washing/dryer at night (some electrical companies have cheaper rates at night times, or weekend - I am with Scottish Power - check your supplier). πŸ‘‰Put the dryer when the washing is finished so you don't end up with clothes fresh and washed but forgotten in the washing machine. Normally I do this after my washing machine is finished, before I go to school. When I come back from school the clothes are already dried - 🀩Better forget the clothes in the dryer and press the button😏that way they will be dried before you know it. πŸ‘‰Check the manual for your dryer and choose the highest settings for drying for the least amount of time. Mine is put on Jeans and in 80 minutes my clothes are dried. 2🟩Dishwasher πŸ‘‰Unload the dishwasher as early in the morning as you can, so you can have your dishwasher empty; πŸ‘‰Add your plates, cups and other things you need to wash directly into your dishwasher and you save time, when it is full you just press a button. And you also save on having to see your sink full of dishes to wash at the end of the day, when you are already tired from work. 3🟩Floors πŸ‘‰Sweep your floors daily using a broom or a hoover, depending on the mess, if you do this daily or when the messes happen it will be less mess to clean at the end of the day 4🟩Bins πŸ‘‰Empty your bins daily, as you don't want nasty smells and the rubbish to stay in your house more than it need too. 5🟩 Food 🀩😍Food is your fuel, don't forget this!😍🀩 πŸ‘‰Make a meal plan or at least have an idea what you are going to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. πŸ‘‰Look in your cupboards and your fridge and use what is close to date, otherwise they will go in the bin and you don't want this.

Here's your roadmap for LIFE: πŸ‘‡ THE ONGOING ROUTINE: Every week, forever: πŸ“… Monday: Entrance & Stairs (15 min) πŸ“… Tuesday: Living Room (15 min) πŸ“… Wednesday: Kitchen (20 min) πŸ“… Thursday: Bedrooms (15 min) πŸ“… Friday: Bathrooms (15 min) πŸ“… Saturday: Deep Clean (60 min) πŸ“… Sunday: Rest & Meal Plan (15 min) Total: 2 hours 35 minutes per week WHAT IF I MISS A DAY? Life happens. Don't panic. Just pick up the next day. Missed Monday entrance? Do it Tuesday morning (10 min), then do Tuesday task (15 min). Total: 25 minutes. Still doable. Missed an entire week? Don't try to "catch up." Just start fresh on Monday with the normal routine. Your house might be slightly messier, but you're still at baseline. One week of maintenance missed won't undo 4 weeks of work. WHAT IF I NEED TO DEEP CLEAN AGAIN? You probably won't. IF you maintain this routine weekly. BUT if you go on holiday for 2 weeks and come back to chaos? Just do another Week 1 deep reset. Then back to maintenance. HOW DO I STAY MOTIVATED? You don't need motivation. You have SYSTEMS. Monday = entrance day. Just do it. Not because you're motivated. Because it's Monday. 🏠 WHAT IF FAMILY/KIDS MESS IT UP? They will. That's life. That's WHY you have the daily maintenance routine. Kids trash the living room? Tuesday = living room day. You'll reset it then. Kitchen gets messy after dinner? Wednesday = kitchen day. You'll deep clean it then. The routine ACCOUNTS for life happening. πŸ’• CAN I MODIFY THE ROUTINE? YES! Make it work for YOUR life. Examples: - Swap days (Saturday deep clean doesn't work? Do it Friday instead) - Combine tasks (10 min entrance + 10 min living room = 20 min) - Shorten tasks (Can only do 10 min instead of 15?
