Ok folks, I have been looking forward to this next lesson for a while. Two point linear perspective is one of my favorite things to teach and it can become very involved but we will get started with the basics and build from there. Are you ready? Paper, ruler, sharp pencil, eraser..... For help understanding, and seeing perspective in a real life situation, find a small box and put it on your table in front of you. Turn it so that your view is looking at the corner of the box.

The newest video reveals how to interpret, how to see, in a real scene, the way that perspective affects a pathway, a road, or a waterway, which, in essence are receding in space on the Earth's surface, a horizontal plane. In the next video I will show you how to use perspective to create a meandering wall which of course, exists on a vertical plane.
