How to self correct errors?
Hi everyone. As the title says, I am looking to improve my ability to correct my drawings. I can see the errors, but I end up making a mess on the page if I try to draw over my work. When sculpting or 3d modelling, I will just blast out shapes that need to be fixed, move proportions, etc. Whilst drawing, I don't have this skillset quite developed yet, as I am nowhere near experienced drawing as I am with those other mediums.
At the moment, I am thinking of drawing larger and much lighter. So it gives me wiggle room to make adjustments without erasing. Also, I find I am drawing quite rigidly while trying to adhere to the steps in the lectures. Not very loose, as if I am trying to lay down the "perfect" mark the first time. I hope this makes sense and if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.
Thanks!
