🆘 ASK DR. TURNEY: Bring Me Your Leadership Problem
Here's something new I'm bringing to the Leadership Hub. Sometimes you don't need another course. You need to be able to say: "Here's what's happening in my school. What would YOU do?" That's what Ask Dr. Turney is for. Bring me the situations you're navigating: • A staff member who is pushing back • A team that isn't functioning well • Low staff morale • Student behavior concerns • Instruction that isn't improving • Difficult conversations • School culture issues • Data that isn't moving • A leadership decision you're second-guessing • Or that situation that has you thinking, What in the world do I do with THIS? 😩 Post your situation below, without identifying students or staff, and I'll select questions to respond to with practical strategies based on my experience as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, district administrator, and school improvement consultant. No textbook answers. Real problems. Real leadership. Real solutions. 👇🏾 What's happening in YOUR school?

It's Back-to-School Season and We're Back!
I'll be transparent: this community has been quiet for a while. But the vision behind it hasn't gone anywhere. Over the past year, I've continued working alongside school leaders, supporting schools, coaching educators, delivering professional development, speaking, and seeing firsthand just how challenging leadership can be. And one thing continues to be clear: Leaders need a place to get real help with real problems. So I'm relaunching the Dr. Turney Leadership Hub with a renewed focus: Bring the problem. Let's work through the solution. This won't just be a place to watch courses. We're going to talk about the things school leaders are actually dealing with—culture, instruction, staff challenges, school improvement, difficult conversations, leadership decisions, and the situations that don't come with an instruction manual. You'll also see: 🎓 Leadership masterclasses 🛠️ Practical tools and resources 💬 Ask Dr. Turney discussions 🎥 Leadership Office Hours 🤝 Real conversations with other educators and leaders If you're already here, thank you for being one of the first. Now tell me: What's ONE leadership challenge you're dealing with right now? Drop it below. 👇🏾 There's a good chance we'll turn your challenge into one of our first conversations.
Breaking Barriers!
I created this space because I’ve been down this lonely and scary leadership road before. I know what it’s like to lead while carrying the weight of expectations, scrutiny, and decisions that no one else sees. I know what it feels like to be labeled, doubted, underestimated—and still be expected to show up strong every day. My leadership journey has been about breaking barriers—not just external ones, but internal ones too. Questioning identity. Challenging beliefs. Redefining what leadership can look like when it’s rooted in purpose, equity, and courage. This community exists for leaders who are navigating that same work. Here, we talk honestly about leadership. We reflect. We grow.We push past the barriers that limit impact—whether they come from systems, culture, or self-doubt. Use this space to ask real questions, share real challenges, and develop the kind of leadership that creates lasting change. You’re not leading alone here. I’m glad you’re here. Let’s break barriers—together.
