Donkey King S1:E8 Chrissy Finds Comfort

Several months ago, Rosalie and Chrissy, a mother/daughter donkey duo, were rescued by Megan, the lead farrier, and brought to Oscar’s Place. Rosalie’s health was poor then, and now it’s continued to deteriorate. Ron meets with Megan and the rest of the team about humanely euthanizing her.

It’s a painful day for the entire team, especially Megan. Dr. Kerry comforts her as Rosalie takes her last breaths. After Rosalie is gone, the team’s focus shifts to Chrissy and making sure she’s eating and unstressed. Fortunately, it appears she’s making a friend with another donkey named Leo. Nearly two years after saying goodbye to Rosalie, Megan checks in on Chrissy, now adopted out to a forever home. Megan is thrilled to see Chrissy thriving with her new family.
