Donkey King S1:E10 Dog Days Of Summer

Ron and the team pick up their first documented aggressive donkey, Brody, who rears up at Kenneth as he attempts to coax him into the trailer. While he’s “98% sweet,” the team at Oscar’s Place must determine what is triggering his behavior.

After a lengthy stay in quarantine, Brody is introduced to a new herd, where he fits in seamlessly. He has also been the perfect gentleman with the staff at Oscar’s Place. Since other donkeys and people don’t appear to be triggering him, Ron sets up a dog test with Dr. Kerry. She brings Robbie, her border collie, to see whether dogs may be the trigger—the previous owner did have several dogs, which may have caused the behavioral outbursts. While Brody shows definite interest in Robbie, he isn’t overly aggressive and doesn’t try to harm him in any way. Based on everything they’re seeing, Dr. Kerry believes it’s safe to find Brody a loving forever home.
