Navigation system
There is something deeply comforting about a navigation system. You type in the destination. The route appears. You begin to drive. And then—suddenly—you miss a turn. What happens? The system doesn’t scold you. It doesn’t abandon you. It doesn’t say, “You’ve ruined the trip.” It simply says: “Recalculating.” Within seconds, a new path appears. In many ways, this is exactly how our gracious Heavenly Father deals with His children. The Bible tells us: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” —Psalm 37:23–24 Notice what Scripture does not say. It does not say we will never stumble. It does not say we will never miss a turn. But it does promise we will not be utterly cast down. Life has twists, detours, delays, and unexpected turns. Sometimes we make decisions we later wish we had made differently. Sometimes we rush ahead of God’s timing. Other times we feel as though we have fallen behind. But when your life is placed in the hands of God, He does not cancel your promise because of a wrong turn. He simply recalculates. Romans 8:28 reminds us: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Not some things. All things. Even the missed exits. Even the seasons of waiting. Even the moments when life didn’t unfold the way we expected. Think of Joseph. Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and forgotten in prison. None of that looked like the dream God had shown him. Yet every apparent detour was God recalculating the path that would eventually lead him to the palace. Think of the children of Israel. They wandered in the wilderness for forty years, yet God’s promise never disappeared. The journey took longer than expected, but the destination remained the same. Proverbs 16:9 declares: “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.”
Just thank you God
I wanted to come up here and share a few words I've received from Everett that have not only stuck with me, but have been used by the Holy Spirit daily in my life. I'm a better person and christian, only because I have been receiving better counseling. Just having this type of wisdom we recieve from Everett, makes it all better. The next step which is doing it, we are 6/10 good with that, but definetely moving foward!!!!!!! So grateful. So, enjoy: (all quotes are Everett's) 1. "You're getting out of Egypt and having just enough, going into the Land of more than enough (not still the Promise Land), and not be excited about it?" ➡️ The way having this in my spirit inmediately keeps me out of complaining is powerful!! I literally have in my wall printed a sign that says "I have more than yesterday".❤️ 2."If you want to get something and the money you have doesn't afford that, sow it onto someone else." ➡️ Anibal has this one in his spirit more than I. It's been producing fruit and changing our spiritual atnosphere at home to think this way. 3. "You change and everything else changes" ➡️ Holy Spirit ALWAYS bringing this one up (lol) 4. "DECLARE DECLARE DECLARE" 😂 ➡️ Truly Life Changing when you understand how it's done. 5. "You want flowers from your husband? Honor him." ➡️ still working on it, I'll post the flowers when I get them and you'll know I sweat it 😂❤️ 6. "You're not overwhelmed, are you overwhelmed? Nahhh" ➡️ not overwhelmed guys, NOT OVERWHELMED😉🫡 7. "Focus on passing the test" ➡️ This one is literally our thoughts 20+ times a week while going through hardships at church, we'll pass the test! 8. "Just do it" ➡️ Nike by Everett Aaron hahah And the list goes on!!!! Are we not so grateful the Lord sent Everett into our lifes? I see the care of God for my life and family through every word of wisdom we receive from this man. I just bless you in Jesus name Everett. Thank you for being in another level and helping us get our ladders to get in there.
🙏🏻🙌🏻👀❤️
Lately the Holy Spirit has been whispering "blind spots" over and over to me. 👀 I have been praying "Lord any blind spots in my character, my manners, and doing that I'm not seeing, expose them to me in Jesus name" This week a big change came to my household. Only because the Lord showed me a blind spot as a wife. I repented and had a conversation with my husband about it. We agreed to a new way of moving forward that I've been craving in my heart for a long time, a little uncomfortable to know it was me all along. I encourage you, sometimes we are just not seeing. I am so busy seeing other things, I truly couldnt see how wring I was doing. I was blind but now I see 🙏🏻😭 Praise Jesus
It's to ask for this...
I want the tongue interpretation gift.. That got into my mind
Gas Lighting - Judges 9-12, my takeaway revelations, Part 2
In today's chapter reading, we see a couple of examples of "gas lighting". I was not able to address this topic in part one of my take away revelations from today's bible reading plan. However, it was too juicy to leave on the table. So, here goes.... there is a testimony at the end. Gas lighting can come from enemies who are trying to use psychological warfare in an attempt to make you embrace their attack. Gas lighting can also come from those who bring attacks but who are "supposed" to be your friends and allies. In today's reading, we have an example of each type of gas lighting along with an example in each case of accurately discerning what was occurring. 1) The first example comes from an enemy in Judges 11:12-27. 2) The second example in Judges 12:1-3, is what I would call friendly fire" because it comes from one with whom you are supposed to be in allegiance (a friend or co-worker). 3) There is also a third example of gas lighting in yesterday's reading in Judges 8:1-3 from "friendly fire". TESTIMONY... Several years ago, I had a court case and one of my key witnesses was a victim of gas lighting. She was a seasoned believer so I shared Judges 12:1-3 with her and explained that it was a scriptural picture of what she was experiencing. Her job required her to investigate elder abuse and she had been assigned to a pending complaint. The individuals being investigated had the audacity to gas light her (try to make her feel guilty for doing her job) based upon the fact that she had some type of prior personal history with them even though it was a very slight prior personal history. She was also experiencing a conflict of interest based upon the prior personal history with the individuals she was assigned to investigate - It would have been wise for her to ask her supervisor to reassign her based upon the potential for a conflict of interest - an investigator needs to be completely impartial and unbiased. This would have spared her this gas lighting situation.
