Hey everyone, these were some of my thoughts during a deep thinking session in my mind. What do you think about them?
“Chance or Creation? — Why Intuition, Logic, and Revelation Point to a Creator”
In the search for the origin of existence, humanity faces two main worldviews. One claims that life is the product of blind chance. The other asserts that life is the result of intentional creation.
This text presents a perspective that emerges from natural human intuition, rational reflection, and divine revelation:
Human life is not an accident. It is designed, intended, and created.
1. Chance Requires a Framework
Take the example of a lottery. People often say, “Winning is a matter of luck.” But upon closer inspection:
- The number of balls is predetermined.
- The size, weight, and color of the balls are defined.
- The air pressure, the glass drum, and even gravity operate within fixed parameters.
“Chance” only operates within a predefined system.
But this raises the critical question:
Who created that system in the first place?
2. The Lego Analogy – When Intuition Exposes Absurdity
Imagine a room filled with 100 blue and 100 green Lego bricks. A small fan is placed in the corner, blowing randomly for millions of years.
How long would it take for a perfectly shaped pink Lego castle or a functioning Lego car to appear?
The answer is clear: Never.
Why? Because:
- The parts are not arranged to build anything meaningful.
- The energy source has no goal.
- The conditions do not favor complex outcomes.
And even if something meaningful did appear, the deeper question remains:
Who put the bricks there? Who built the fan? Who defined the colors and physics of the room?
Even randomness needs raw materials — and materials need an origin.
3. The Human Body – Beyond Machines
Now consider a car. It is composed of hundreds of coordinated parts. No one would ever claim that a car came into existence by chance.
And yet some claim that a human — with billions of cells, intricately connected systems, memory, consciousness, emotions, and intelligence — is merely the result of blind processes.
That idea does not just contradict logic; it violates the human sense of reason and intuition.
4. Fitrah – The Voice of Truth Within
The Qur’an refers to this innate awareness as Fitrah — the natural disposition placed by God in every human being:
“So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people.”
(Surah Ar-Rum, 30:30)
This Fitrah tells the human heart:
- Life has purpose.
- The universe is ordered, not chaotic.
- There is meaning behind the design.
This voice is not superstition. It is a call to the truth.
5. The Qur’anic Challenge to Atheism
The Qur’an directly challenges those who deny design:
“Were they created by nothing? Or were they the creators [of themselves]?”
(Surah At-Tur, 52:35)
“Did We not create you from a humble fluid? Then We placed it in a firm lodging… and created you in stages? Will you not then reflect?”
(Surah Al-Mu’minun, 23:13–14)
Rather, purpose, complexity, and consciousness are signs of a wise and knowing Creator.
