Become the Kind of Person Who Reflects Jesus
Live Full of Grace and Truth
Key Idea:
The goal is not simply learning this model—it’s becoming this kind of person.
Scripture (NIV):
Colossians 3:12–14
“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience…”
Teaching:
People should experience Jesus through the way we speak, lead, and respond.
Questions to ask daily:
- Am I listening well?
- Am I speaking honestly?
- Am I extending mercy?
- Am I inviting growth?
Grace without truth creates comfort.
Truth without grace creates distance.
Grace and truth together create transformation.
Action Steps:
- Write a personal Grace + Truth statement
(Example: I will love people deeply and lead people courageously.)
- Identify one relationship to apply this in today
- Share your commitment in the community
