Day 5 Grace and Truth-The Jesus Model
Become the Kind of Person Who Reflects Jesus Live Full of Grace and Truth Key Idea: The goal is not simply learning this model—it’s becoming this kind of person. Scripture (NIV): Colossians 3:12–14 “Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience…” Teaching: People should experience Jesus through the way we speak, lead, and respond. Questions to ask daily: - Am I listening well? - Am I speaking honestly? - Am I extending mercy? - Am I inviting growth? Grace without truth creates comfort. Truth without grace creates distance. Grace and truth together create transformation. Action Steps: - Write a personal Grace + Truth statement (Example: I will love people deeply and lead people courageously.) - Identify one relationship to apply this in today - Share your commitment in the community

Day 4 Grace and Truth: The Jesus Model
Lead People the Way Jesus Did Key Idea: Healthy leadership requires both compassion and clarity. Scripture (NIV): Ephesians 4:15 “Speaking the truth in love, we will grow…” Teaching: Jesus corrected His disciples while continuing to believe in them. Grace says: “I’m with you.” Truth says: “I won’t leave you where you are.” In leadership: - Grace builds trust - Truth builds growth - Together they build healthy culture Action Steps: - Encourage one person publicly - Coach one person privately - Replace criticism with clear direction Reflection: Do your conversations produce fear—or growth?

Day 3 Grace and Truth: The Jesus Model
Day 3: Truth Calls People Forward Truth Is Love With Direction Key Idea: Jesus loved people enough to tell them the truth. Scripture (NIV): John 8:10–11 “Then neither do I condemn you… Go now and leave your life of sin.” Teaching: Notice the order: 1. Grace — “Neither do I condemn you.” 2. Truth — “Leave your life of sin.” Jesus did not shame people into change. He invited them into transformation. Truth says: - You are forgiven - You are capable of growth - You are not stuck Action Steps: - Identify one area where you’ve been avoiding a necessary conversation - Speak truth with kindness this week - Before giving feedback, ask: “Will this help them grow?” Reflection: Do you use truth to help—or to prove a point?
