Peer to Peer Discipleship
One of the things that makes this community special is that we don’t just learn from the content, we learn from each other. Every person here has experiences, victories, struggles, lessons, and insights that someone else in this community needs to hear. When you see a post, don’t just scroll by. Take a moment to encourage someone. Ask a question. Share what God has taught you. Celebrate a win. Pray for a brother or sister who is struggling. Discipleship was never meant to be a solo journey. We grow faster when we grow together. Remember: someone else’s breakthrough may be on the other side of your comment. Today, I want to challenge everyone to engage with at least 3 posts from other members. Let’s continue building a culture where everybody contributes, everybody learns, and everybody grows. 👇 What’s one lesson God has taught you recently that could encourage someone else in this community?

Why We Do What We Do
Recent church research cited by disciple-making organizations reports: - Fewer than 5% of U.S. churches have a true reproducing disciple-making culture (where disciples make disciples consistently). If applied to the 370,000 estimate: 0.05 \times 370,000 = 18,500 That means approximately: - ~18,500 churches may be functioning as true disciple-making churches - ~351,500 churches may gather people but are not multiplying disciples in a measurable way The bigger issue: attendance ≠ discipleship A lot of churches are strong at: - gathering crowds - weekend services - events - programs But many struggle with: - personal mentoring - accountability - leadership multiplication - sending disciples to make disciples That’s why many ministry leaders describe the American church as having a discipleship gap—lots of churches, but relatively few intentionally building disciple-makers. A simple way to say it If you’re teaching or speaking on this, a concise statement would be: The United States has roughly 370,000 churches, but research suggests fewer than 5% are effectively making reproducing disciples—meaning only about 18,500 churches may be doing discipleship the way Jesus modeled it.

Psalm 23
I’ve been studying Psalm 23, and every day I speak it aloud—it’s now memorized. I truly see a difference in my life and throughout my day I notice how God aligns circumstances to His Word. • “He anoints my head with oil” — all my tennis injuries have healed. • “He leads me beside still waters” — yesterday while boating, God gave us a clear path right between serious storms. • “He makes me lie down in green pastures” — when I desperately need rest, He miraculously clears my schedule and aligns everything perfectly. There are so many more examples, but I encourage you to start speaking Psalm 23 aloud daily and watch what God does in your life.
