I think I need to get rid of one of these squash plants. It’s basically taking over my entire corn bean squash areas or should I just let it play out? But my cute little corn stocks are going nicely😊

While wandering the yard today I discovered what appears to be a completely rogue cabbage just out here freelancing with zero supervision. Nobody planted it.Nobody invited it.Yet here it stands… thriving. 🌱 Honestly this is the kind of confidence I aspire to have. Nature is weird, compost is magic, and at this point my yard is basically running its own experimental survival game.

Well folks… the garden is officially entering that awkward teenage phase. The garlic is out here acting like it pays the mortgage. 🧄 The strawberries are producing just enough berries to make me irrationally protective of them. 🍓 WE HAVE NEVER GOTTEN ANY IN 8 YEARS BECAUSE CHIPMUNKS AND FAT ASS GROUNDHOG IDIOTS… not when I have perimeter of chickens 🐓 and a Larry dismantling the entire chipmunk/mouse population like it’s his profession 🐈‍⬛ The tomatoes have finally accepted that they’re tomatoes and not decorative sticks. 🍅 The beans have emerged and are currently attending Vine Climbing Boot Camp. 🌱 The grapevine continues to do whatever grapevines do when nobody is watching. 🍇 The apple tree is looking happy, the arches are up, and the garden disco balls remain on duty because obviously photosynthesis works better with sparkle. ✨🪩 Now I need YOUR updates! 📸 Drop a photo of your garden below.🌱 What are you growing this year? 🐛 What’s thriving? 😩 What’s trying its absolute best to die despite your efforts? 🤷 What gardening mystery currently has you questioning your life choices? Wellllllll apparently Google said “your free trial of talking about dirt has expired” and booted us out at the 1 hour mark :( Then it wouldn’t let me reopen the meeting because apparently I refuse to pay Google an additional $10/month for the privilege of rambling about plants and losing my shovel in real time. One of my favorite things about learning plants is realizing how many “weeds” are actually deeply useful. Red clover has traditionally been used in teas, tinctures, and herbal blends and is often associated with:✨ Supporting overall wellness✨ Naturally occurring antioxidants✨ Respiratory support✨ Women’s hormonal support✨ Pollinator-friendly garden ecosystems 🐝 To dry properly for storage:🌸 Harvest blooms when fully open and dry🌬️ Spread in a single layer with good airflow☀️ Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve color + compounds🫙 Store fully dried blossoms in an airtight jar away from heat/moisture If they feel cool or soft still, they’re NOT fully dry yet and can mold in storage. Nature is honestly just one giant medicine cabinet if you slow down long enough to learn it. ::
