What sounds the most exciting to you?! 🌱
My brain is exploding ideas over here, but I wanna know what actually sparks your interest most. Out of the poll options below, what side quest are YOU most intrigued to learn more about? No pressure, no homework, just me being nosy and trying to see what people actually want more of. 😂 Poll is below, and if you’ve got other ideas you’d love to see — message me. I’m always down for more good ideas. 🌿

Today’s episode of “Wait…is this a bad plant, do I destroy or collect?” 🌱😂
While I was at my dad’s this morning, I spotted a random little sprout in the yard, and naturally assumed, “You are absolutely not supposed to be here.” Fully prepared to rip it out thinking it was a baby dogwood… BUT before committing plant murder, I consulted my beloved PictureThis app. Plot twist: tiny yard intruder was actually a baby Black Cherry tree. 🌳 So obviously instead of yeeting it into oblivion, I’m now bringing this surprise tree child home, potting it up, and entering my new role as foster mother to a future woodland giant. If all goes well, this little guy gets upgraded to the woods next year. Moral of the story: Sometimes it’s not a weed, sometimes it’s a free tree!! Haha Anybody else out here rescuing random plants they absolutely did not plan on emotionally investing in?

I’m actually planning to save seeds and eventually build a specialty seed shop, so absolutely yes — I think we could come up with some really fun ideas for seed swaps, trading favorites, or even helping design little parts of each other’s gardens. There’s so much cool stuff we could experiment with together. I’m genuinely so excited to have garden friends all over the place to grow, test, swap, and create with — that sounds ridiculously fun. 🌱🌿👩🏼‍🌾

@Rebecca Waitkunas Its been cold here too 🥶 We got hit with a legit cold snap about three weekends ago dropped down to 27°. This little cold snap over the past few days it’s been hanging in the mid to upper 30s at night, but my plants have been hardening off outside for the last three weeks. I hauled them into the garage for that nasty 27° night, tossed them right back outside the next day, and they’ve been handling it like champs. At this point? I’d say they’re ready to hit the ground.
👩🏼‍🌾 Question for the GROWERSSSSSS 🍅 🧅 🌶️ 🫑 🥒
Just a quick hi-hello from your Plant Mother — currently hiding from the cold and pretending my sunroom is a full-blown greenhouse (honestly… it smells like one, so I’m counting it). 🌱😂 I’m also realizing I may be mildly terrible at making actually useful video content… but we’re learning together, okay? So take a peek at the video below, and let me know if there’s anything I can help with. Also — if you can share this SKOOL space, PLEASE do. Share it with your friends, family, your neighbor, Linda at the coffee shop… I do not care, just share away. The bigger we grow this little plant-loving chaos community, the more potential I have to connect with these companies (I’m actively shaking down like for real DONT TELL ME NO BUDDY I will never stop until I get what I want…) for actual real discounts, giveaways, and useful deals on things like soil, pots, grow setups, and all the fun stuff that I have found works best at the least cost possible and that I personally use:) And let me be clear — I’m not here to hype up garbage. If it sucks, I will absolutely tell you it sucks. 😂 My goal is real community, real advice, and hopefully real savings for all of us. Because honestly? I will ask for a discount anywhere, like I straight up, ask at checkout for senior discount, friends and family right straight to their face. If I get pushed back, I just say why do you love corporate America so much and then they’re mad at that point so I definitely don’t get a discount but you’d be shocked how often it actually works. So I figured the more engagement I can get here the more motivated I will be to continue just creating and talking here (you know practice makes perfect with intention to get better and make less garbage maybe edit a video idk). The more engagement, the more growth. The more proof I have to entice companies based on my audience I’d be more likely to get those partnerships I’m seeking. Unfortunately, I think an audience base matters a lot more than a personal story when aiming at corporate America, but I’ll keep pushing regardless because I fully intend to spread that wealth. 🌿👩🏼‍🌾

🥒🚨 PICKLE FEST PREP HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN 🚨🥒
Today I planted ALLLLLL my cucumber babies for Pickle Fest and friends… let me lovingly tell you right now: Not all cucumbers are created equal. 😂 Some are dramatic climbing jungle monsters. Some are compact little apartment cucumbers. Some need a trellis like it’s their emotional support system. Some are perfectly happy sprawling across your yard like they pay property taxes. 🌱 Moral of today’s Dirt Talk: Just because you think you don’t have room to grow cucumbers… does NOT mean cucumbers agree. There is quite literally a cucumber variety for your chaos level, garden size, and willingness to build weird plant scaffolding. 🥒 LET’S BREAK DOWN YOUR CUCUMBER OPTIONS BY SPACE + GROW STYLE: 🌿 BIG YARD? ROOM TO SPRAWL? Meet: Straight Eight (The OG) This is your classic cucumber vine.Big. Productive. Slightly feral. ✔️ Can sprawl on the ground✔️ Can climb fences/trellis✔️ Large producer✔️ Great if you’ve got room OR wanna go vertical 💡 Dirt Talk Tip:If you trellis most vining cucumbers, you save space, improve airflow, reduce disease risk, AND often get more production + longer plant life. Translation: Vertical = less chaos, more cucumbers. 🧗 “I REQUIRE SUPPORT OR I WILL PERISH” Variety: Spring Burpless - This one? Drama queen. This cucumber REALLY wants vertical life.Ground growing = likely weak production, stress, or quick burnout. ✔️ Best on trellis ONLY✔️ Vertical specialist✔️ Great for organized growers Think of this one as the cucumber that needs the fancy yoga studio membership. ☀️ Hot, Humid, Powdery Mildew Battle Zone? Muncher Vine - Now THIS is your backyard warrior. ✔️ Heat/humidity friendly✔️ Mildew resistant✔️ Ground OR trellis✔️ Heavy yielding If your summers feel like nature is personally attacking your squash family… this may be your champion. 🥒 You’re Plant Mothers Personal Favorite… WINNER 🏆 National Pickling Cucumber🏅 Listen…I love this one. 😂 ✔️ Super high yield✔️ Crunchy perfection✔️ Adorable size✔️ Ground or trellis friendly✔️ Elite pickle material
