It's My Turn!
Hey reader!
I’m Kashaf, a 25-year-old woman from Pakistan living with my 2 beautiful cats. I’m a former high school English teacher and currently a freelance writer. I’ve recently started my master’s in Applied Linguistics, and I now aim to turn writing into a full-time role.
I’ve been writing blogs across various niches, but traveling and lifestyle are what I truly call a beautiful escape from reality. It’s hard to explain how I feel when I write about traveling. I know I’m not traveling consistently, yet it feels like my soul is traveling with my words. Each word feels powerful yet soothing. All in all, it is a beautiful experience.
Moreover, I don’t want to keep it filtered. Nothing is more powerful than keeping it real, so I want to confess that I had doubts about myself and my writing. Little did I know that my travel narratives could be published. Until one day, I saw one of my written blogs on Grey Journal. That was a moment of mixed emotions. I was happy because it was published and had value, but sad because I didn’t get recognition. It was published on behalf of a foreigner.
However, things happen for a reason. While I’m stilll learning, I can’t deny my potential. I know I can polish my travel narratives if I give them time, and that’s exactly what matters most.
It was truly an honor for me to be the part of this community and introduce myself.
Ciao,
Kashaf :)
