Hello everyone!
I'm new here. I'm a visual content creator based in Oklahoma City currently who's been making videos and photos for over 15 years.
I've worked at some big places like NBC News and the TODAY Show, where I built their Instagram to over a million followers. These days I create content at Kosmos Q's YouTube channel and have worked with brands like Fairmont Hotels, Hilton, and Disney creating social media content. I was NBC News' first ever Social Media Manager from 2010-2015.
Apple invited me into their creator program, so I get the new iPhone every year to test and create with. My work has been featured in Time Magazine, CNN, Travel & Leisure, the Wall Street Journal, and I made the cover of Wanderlust Magazine. I shoot almost everything on iPhone.
My travel work has taken me all over. I covered the 2018 Kilauea eruption in Hawaii (lived there for three years), flew to Iceland to document a volcanic eruption, created content for the Bahamas Tourism Bureau in Exuma, and led a video team for BMW's Mini Takes The States across nine western states. I've been to the Caribbean, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Canada, and worked events from the Super Bowl to the London Olympics.
I approach travel from a Gen X perspective. I'm not doing the typical influencer thing. I focus on authentic storytelling for people who actually want to see the real experience, not just the highlight reel.
