Sooo, apparently I will be a php developer 🥲... managed to get a job mainly because of the projects I've built here(aka crypto app), but networing and solid interview skills played an important role as well. I don't wanna lie, I got lucky, but I'll take it every day of the week 😅. Remember, keep grinding every day of the week, write quality code, review others work and most importantly, NEVER GIVE UP!!! ✌️

I had reached 5kyu on codewars prematurely before finishing all the vanilla projects, but I think it's more relevant to post it now. Once again, I'm feeling that dreadful, almost paralyzing feeling you get when you have to leave the safe confines of the classroom, look at a blank editor & build using concepts you haven't tinkered with yet. But I'm noticing a pattern. I've overcome this feeling twice in the past 4 months. And it's just that...a feeling. It means nothing at the end of the day. If anything, I'm starting to recognize this feeling as a signal that growth is about to occur in me. The faker data, closures, and Friend Finder modules were eye-opening to me. It's a healthy reminder that I need to double down on studying my fundamentals. What's the difference between var, const, and let? What's the difference between primitive & non-primitive data types, etc. Projects loading %... 🙏🏻

I've been going super hard on JavaScript this last month. I've been running into this issue lately where my designs have over-reached into concepts I haven't touched on yet. Now I think I'm primed and ready to learn about objects, arrays, loops and data. And I can feel it in my bones. When I learn these concepts and imprint them in my mind, my personal applications are going to go absolutely bonkers. I'm designing throwaway mini-application after mini-application after mini-application so I can burn these concepts into my skull. Cristian is going to turn ALL OF US into savages if we go that extra mile. We're all winners here. Nobody wants to become developers more than the people in this room. Keep on pushing 🚀
