Getting Started With a Garden Plan
This is the last session of the Garden Planning and Design Workshop. Let's move forward the easy way. One tiny step at a time. The entire workshop is in the classroom. Follow this step by step process to get the garden that you want.
Getting Started With a Garden Plan
Cleaning Up and Moving Forward
Sometimes it all seems overwhelming. But it is usually not as hard as it looks. We are moving forward on Phase One of the permaculture plan for the property. First I cleaned up the raised bed, planted the garlic and tossed the old hay in the raised bed. In keeping with working from temporary to permanent, we had set up the next space with "milk crates". Yes, that was the space she wanted. I cleaned up the space and the milk crates, put down cardboard for weed control and waited it down with the crates. That space is ready for next season. It sounds like a lot, but it only took an hour. Next I get ready to put in the fence posts. This is all following the process from the Garden Planner and Design Workshop in the classroom. What plans are you putting in place to get ready for next season, or solve challenges encountered this season?

New Propagation Batch
I just spent an afternoon playing with some of my herb gardens. You can watch the video on Delectable Tiny Gardens You Tube. While I was grooming the herbs, I took cuttings for propagation. Rosemary and Thyme usually root for me in about 2 weeks. Bay usually takes 2 months. Free Baby Plants I am currently making grape vine baskets to plant into Tiny Herb Gardens for a show that I have in September. Too much fun. If you could have a free Tiny Garden, what would you plant in it? What if it only cost a couple of dollars to get started? The Container Garden Challenge starts on August 8, 2026.

The Worm Tower Workshop
The Worm Tower Workshop is now complete in the classroom! You can now see all 8 as they exist at this moment with brief descriptions with each video. To find the workshop, click on classroom, find the worm composting class and click on the pic. Both the worm composting class and the Worm Tower Workshop are there. Both are fantastic techniques for fertility for your Tiny Gardens.

So far it is going great. So it is time to share the technique. Saturday,June 20 at 2pm Eastern, I will be hosting a Worm Tower Workshop here at Delectable Tiny Gardens. To join the workshop, simply go to the calendar on June 20 and click on the link.
