I have grown a number of fruits in the ground but I have very limited experience growing fruits in containers. Many of these profiles are my research so that I can go from experimenting with planting salvaged seeds to successfully growing fruit. Come and experiment with me and grow a fruit. I am not an expert on every vegetable in these profiles but I am endeavoring to provide a complete profile for each vegetable. For the plants that I know, I supplement the researched information with my experience as a Midwestern U.S. gardener and with my experience growing plants in containers in an RV. These vegetables are well suited for small spaces from an RV to a small outside garden.

While I am not an expert on every herb profiled here, I have grown most of them. It is my intention to provide as complete a profile as I can for each herb. For the ones that I know, the profile will contain both researched information and my experience with the herb. I have worked with traditional gardens, market gardens, raised beds, and container gardens. As someone who has gardened in an RV, I know that a lot can be done in tiny spaces. Each of these herbs is productive in tiny spaces.

Plant propagation is an important part of food and herb resiliency. This simple propagation tray is the easiest and most reliable tool and method I have found for propagating plants from cuttings. Gather up your supplies and make your own propagation tray with Auntie Vicky. You will need : A one gallon jug. I recommend a laundry detergent jug, but a vinegar jug or ice cream bucket will work. A drill and bits A saw or sharp knife. A bit of window screen Sand A marker and ruler
