After a very beautiful conversation I had with @Moira Mills from Decondition Together here on Skool, I came across this message from Martha Graham an icon for modern dancers - she said: "The beauty of your work, along with the beauty of your soul, is all that can protect you from the brutality of the world in which you create your dances, your poems, your stories, your characters. Strive for beauty in words, movements, chords. Strive for beauty in kindness and patience. The world in which artists live and work is no different from the stock market or a slaughterhouse, but we, the artists, have to be terribly different.
