Part 1 of The Epstein Files and the Questions We’re Not Asking
Podcast : https://castpreview.page.link/P1m1 Hey Polly Green Hair family, The Epstein files are out. The world is in chaos. But here’s what I know about chaos: it’s often how God reveals what’s been hidden. The underbelly of our humanity, exposed in a way we can’t look away from. I believe these women. All of them. I understand the photoshoots. The promises. The slow seduction of opportunity. One minute you’re being seen, being chosen, being told you’re special. Before you know it—there you are. And you don’t even know how you got there. But let’s be clear: These were children. Not “underage girls.” Not “young women.” Children. Will we ever get an explanation from the parents who put them in harm’s way? From the powerful people who facilitated this? From the systems that looked the other way? No. We will never get an explanation. There are no explanations that make this make sense. But I’m entering this story anyway. Not because I have answers, but because I have questions. The kind of questions people are avoiding while they perform outrage on social media. And I’m entering this story because I know what it is to be that child. THE DAILY ACORN: When Nations Break and Rebuild
When Nations Break and Rebuild: The Jamaica Story I left Jamaica at 13. Watched from America for 40 years as the dream of independence slowly died. Record violence. Mass exodus. Political dysfunction so deep nobody even pretends anymore. This isn’t just Jamaica’s story. It’s happening everywhere. Institutions collapsing. Old systems dying. The sense that we’re living through something that can’t be fixed with better policy or different leaders. There’s a framework that explains this moment: the Fourth Turning. Every 80 years - one long human life - societies go through complete transformation. The old order breaks. Something new gets born. We’re in that breaking moment right now. But here’s the seed of hope: Fourth Turnings don’t end in apocalypse. They end in renewal. In this episode, I use Jamaica as a case study to help you understand where we are in the cycle, why the breakdown is necessary, and what it means to be a hope dealer when everything’s falling apart. The acorn has to break open in the dark before the oak can grow. Listen now, and let me know what’s breaking and rebuilding in your world. 🎧 Listen: https://castpreview.page.link/N3tf Shawna Kearsley // The Daily Acorn // Your hope dealer on the Delmarva Peninsula

Systems Thinking - THE WAY WE’RE TAUGHT TO THINK
Most of us were trained to think in threads. Straight lines. Linear cause and effect. Problem → Solution.Cause → Effect.Action → Result. Pull this thread, get that outcome. Simple. Clean. Predictable. And for a lot of human history, that worked pretty well. The world moved slow enough that you could treat things as separate. You could isolate variables. You could say “this caused that” and be mostly right. But here’s the thing: the world was never actually that simple. We just pretended it was because it made things easier to manage. And now? Now we can’t afford that pretense anymore. Link to Podcast: https://www.swellcast.com/t/O1V3OKBuONvYzCs
