Good day beautiful community Do you ever feel like you're white knuckling through the day? Holding on and making things happen. Caffeine so your energy stays up and you can do everything on your to do list. It’s rushed. You’re swamped with tasks. Or, you’re a creative and you just can’t feel that spark anymore. But you produce something just to put your work out there and stay relevant. These situations, and more, show you that you’re misaligned with yourself. That’s not to say everything is easy and sunshine rainbows with unicorns that poop glitter! Not that at all. It means that you haven’t connected with yourself. Where is the rest that your mind, body, energy, soul needs? Have you sat and reconnected with yourself? This isn’t about expanding or doing more. It’s about balancing flow with inspired action. Listening to your inner voice (the Soul, not the unhealed inner child). Alignment with your greatest Self is authenticity. It is beautifully being the best version of yourself because you’ve built that trust, you truly see yourself, and honor every part of you. Alignment isn't a goal or something to achieve. It’s permission to live your life as your highest Self, simply BEING. Living in alignment is -Connection the divinity within Self -The inner child that feels safe and seen -Balanced masculine & feminine energy -Filling your cup before any others Do you feel that you’re living by force? Sacred Rest
As the Gregorian year ends, I’m inviting you to remember that our bodies may be running on a different calendar. This is the time of year that people are rushing, holiday craziness, companies are pushing mass buying (fiscal year closeout), school terms are ending. But you, you may feel different. No need to add to the chaos of the world. I’m reminding you that the real new year, that are bodies are originally turned to before society’s fabricated timeline was created, is supposed to be resting. Out natural new year is in March. So if you feel called to move slower, rest more, have naps- it’s ok. Yes, handle your responsibilities, AND schedule rest. Your body needs it. Your mind needs it. Your soul needs it. -Have a meal without screens -Take a bath -Body scan (activate & release every muscle) -Stillness -Take a walk outside & Connect with the elements -Breathwork What ways are you going to honor your body this week?
