As the Gregorian year ends, I’m inviting you to remember that our bodies may be running on a different calendar. This is the time of year that people are rushing, holiday craziness, companies are pushing mass buying (fiscal year closeout), school terms are ending. But you, you may feel different. No need to add to the chaos of the world. I’m reminding you that the real new year, that are bodies are originally turned to before society’s fabricated timeline was created, is supposed to be resting. Out natural new year is in March. So if you feel called to move slower, rest more, have naps- it’s ok. Yes, handle your responsibilities, AND schedule rest. Your body needs it. Your mind needs it. Your soul needs it.
-Have a meal without screens
-Take a bath
-Body scan (activate & release every muscle)
-Stillness
-Take a walk outside & Connect with the elements
-Breathwork
