ultimate newbie here... what is the take on promoting videos? not knowing anything, my first instinct is sub for sub.. but reading through previous posts, some of you are saying not to even advertise on your social media. because you want a natural audience, but as a new creator youtube isnt really pushing out my impressions to even get views.. by my 3rd video i had a friend sub and ive seen a boost from that.. so would it be beneficial to sub for sub (or any better ideas?) early on just to get some numbers going and youtube push your videos out
