- Strong Unity experience with gameplay implementation and scripting
- Experience designing and balancing combat systems and enemy behaviors
- Deep knowledge of JRPG systems, especially grid/real-time hybrids like Mega Man Battle Network
- Ability to design, implement, and iterate gameplay systems end-to-end
- Experience working on 2D tile-based games and gameplay loops
- Ability to create placeholder pixel art and simple animations
- Strong understanding of player feedback, balance, and game feel
- Experience building tools, controllers, or gameplay systems inside Unity
- Ability to collaborate with small teams across design, art, and programming
- Strong communication and async workflow experience (Discord, Trello)
- Self-driven and comfortable working in early-stage indie environments
- Bonus: Experience with MMBN-style or One Step From Eden-like systems
- Bonus: Modding or fan-game experience in JRPG or action-RPG genres
- Bonus: Experience with Tiled / SuperTiled2Unity workflows
