What is Your Morning Practice?
Every morning I start by listing 6 things I’m grateful for .. even when I don’t feel like it!
🌿 Grief can make our brains feel foggy, heavy, and stuck in survival mode. That’s why I love this one tiny habit that has such a big impact:
✨ List 6 things you are grateful for.
It doesn’t have to be profound. It could be:
  • Morning coffee ☕
  • A text from a friend 💌
  • Sunshine on your face ☀️
  • A favorite blanket 🧣
  • My granddaughter’s laughter 🎶
  • Quiet moments 🌙
Even when you don’t feel grateful, the simple act of writing these down starts to change your brain. Neuroscience shows that practicing gratitude rewires neural pathways, little by little, shifting us from despair toward hope.
When grief brain feels overwhelming, this practice is like planting seeds. Over time, those seeds grow into resilience and a gentle reminder: light still exists, even here. 🌸
💛 What’s one thing you’re grateful for right now? Drop it below—I’d love to hear.
