A different kind of grief…
My girl is headed off to Asheville today.
I’m filled with mixed emotions…happy for her independence and ability to thrive.
And sad…because I’m gonna miss her presence. She faced the devastation of hurricane Helene and has made the best of it.
It hasn’t been easy for an adult child to move in with mom and dad, but we made the best of it.
I’m excited to see what her future holds. I know it’s bright.
I’m curious what other types of grief are you facing right now and how can we support each other in our grief?
