What is a study for?
A study isn't about being attached to finish or polish - it's about doing your best within the parameters. You may receive your parameters from a trusted guide (teacher) or you may set them yourself. The parameters should be designed to focus your energy on a goal, solution to a problem, or the answering of a question. Wherever you are at the end of the study session will inform your next stab at the goal/solution/answer. You build proficiency by learning economy and prioritization of action through the parameters.
There are two new chances to make studies here with me in February. Look for our monthly painting challenge (all members) which drops tomorrow 2/1, and a new lesson ( Premier & VIP) which drops on 2/14.
