Art Journal Prompts 12/14/25
Exploring imagery of sensory comfort 🪶 Use these prompts one at a time or all together to explore the depth of these concepts. Use color, shape, line, magazine cutouts, words, phrases - anything goes! Art journaling helps us reduce worry and process our life experiences in a safe, comfortable way. It can help us reduce anxiety and self doubt because of the healing effect on the amygdala, which regulates emotions and creative thinking. Art journaling can be as playful or as serious as you'd like it to be. All you need is paper and simple supplies. Take a load off and lighten your heart. Unwind at the end the week or when you need some lighthearted self care.

Art Journal Prompts 12/14/25
Art of your dreams 🤩
Dear members, if you could create any kind of art, what would it be? 🎨 What medium, style and subject?
Your Own Creative Care?
Dear members, do you have practices you consider creative care? This is not run of the mill art therapy I'm talking about, but things involving creativity that help your mental and emotional wellbeing? (For instance... singing in the shower, seasonal decorating, experimenting with recipes, etc...)
Your Own Creative Care?
Photo Editing
I use photo editing as a form of creative expression. It’s a quiet, focused process that feels calming rather than draining. Even though it asks for attention and intention, the act of editing helps me slow down, notice details, and stay present. In that space, creativity becomes restorative. For me, photo editing isn’t just about the final image. It’s about supporting my wellbeing through artful focus and gentle exploration. Creativity can be both expressive and nourishing—and this is one of the ways I practice that balance.
