looking for feedback. I am looking to update the branding on my printed materials. Signs, business cards, etc. The general goal was to make the logo more casual, and creative. Here is my old logo, and what I am leaning towards. give me your thoughts

So I want to try some of those gilding/mirror/chrome finish paint pens, but know little to nothing about them. I have used standard paint pens in the past and they usually either dry out quickly because so much product comes out it over saturates, or it is a chore getting anything to come out. I want to use these to highlight a decoupage pieces. Someone saw the table I did with Whimsykel's Moody Petals and asked if I could upcycle a table for them using that same design. "Why yes, yes I can! Because I bought more than one!" lol The tan/gold in the background they would like highlighted with gold metallic paint. Doing this with a pen vs a fine brush would be my preference. Have any of you tried the chrome/gilding/mirror paint pens and if so is there a specific brand to try, or better yet, to avoid?

Normally, I get in flow and just start creating whatever inspires me, but this week I thought I'd ask if there are any requests for WTF Wednesday designs before I go down the rabbit hole. Anything special you'd like to see? I've been thinking Spring and Easter lately anyone else? It could just be I'm over winter, though.
