MC: Herbs and Kitchen Witchery
This is my "homework" for Mini Course "Herbs and Kitchen Witchery". I got no pictures for this one, sorry its just words! Lol Lesson 1 Activity: Sage. I feel at peace, calm, and safe. (And it is tasty.) These feelings are why I chose it as my name Lesson 2 Activity: Nutmeg. Great for luck, money, and love spells. Use in divination, meditation, prophetic and lucid dreaming, astral travel, repel unwanted people. Promote emotional well-being, alleviate anxiety, facilitate inner peace, resolve digestive issues. Aphrodisiac- especially women. Lesson 3 Activity: Since the first Mini Course I have started stirring intention into my morning coffee and afternoon or evening teas. Today, I stirred motivation into my coffee by saying "I welcome the motivation to complete my tasks for the day". By the end of the day, I felt very accomplished and even took care of some one-time chores i had been putting off! Lesson 4 Activity: I wrote the wish for a new job onto the bay leaf. It didn't burn all the way, which I learned could be a sign the leaves are not dry enough, so I left them open overnight to further dry and tried again. The leaf burned fully the second try. Lesson 5 Activity: I made a confidence/mood boost charm from a small pouch I filled with nutmeg, allspice, and turmeric. Lesson 6 Activity: I am going to try to buy local and/or organic herbs as much as is possible for me until I can grow my own (Again, sorry, I didn't get any pictures this time)
MC: Crystal Magic for Beginners
Here is my "homework" from the Mini Course "Crystal Magic for Beginners". I have attached pictures of the stones I mentioned in the activities except for the lapis. Lesson 1 Activity: I held a piece of sea sediment Jasper. It is cool but not cold, light weighted, and very smooth. Almost soft feeling, like if suede was a rock. Lesson 2 Activity: Lapis lazuli. I was drawn to the sapphire blue as a child - consciously due to its rich sapphire blue color. Upon researching it more, I definitely feel a connection to the meanings of wisdom and knowledge since I am always passionate about learning, anything and everything. I also feel a pull towards the spiritual enlightenment aspects since I am in this new stage of my life diving into my craft. As of completing this activity, I am doing the sigil daily group activity and chose to make a sigil for success - which is one aspect of life using lapis can help Lesson 3 Activity: The stone I chose for the next few activities is Moonstone. The specific crystal I chose is a crescent shaped carved crystal held in a handcrafted wire framed pendant with a tree holding the stone in place. Before working with her (her energy feels feminine. Gentle, but firm in her guidance she will bring me.), I apologized for not being able to ask her permission to work together before bringing her into my home (she was part of an auctioned lot of stones and beads ill be using to make jewlery), and then asked her if we could work together using the choosing recitation from Lesson 2. I felt a tingling in my hand that got stronger as I held my hand over her, so I thanked her for allowing us to work together. I cleansed her that night in the moonlight. Lesson 4 Activity: I did the activities for Lessons 4 and 5 together with that same Moonstone pendant. The intention I programmed into her was for her to carry calmness and to balance some difficult emotions I know I'll be experiencing soon. Lesson 5 Activity describes my first day keeping her near me. I also commented on a post about guides with some of my experience in these first few days. I ended this week feeling very content and sure of myself in a calm and collected way. I feel like I will hold onto this feeling as I continue to work with the moonstone pendant.

A Day of Fall
One day, during middle school years, one of my teachers had us make a jar. I forgot the entire point, but I remember wanting to preserve fall. I love it, as well as winter. But especially since I live in the South, fall is much easier to preserve in the fall. I picked up my favorite kind of leaves and things and tossed them in, closed the jar, and painted what's supposed to be representation of flame and fall; embers and dark leaves. Its very derpy haha I haven't, since, opened it. Its been at least 7 years. I kept it all this time because something about it was special. More special than the contents, as I could make 20 of these without blinking. But it gave me a similar feeling, I realized recently, that my long-since-made spell jar gave me; I don't want to just get rid of you.. maybe use you? But I had no reason, then, to think of using dead, partly molded leaves. But now im wondering... Wonderin aside, I just thought its a cute lil thing ill show :3 i prolly will make another someday. I wanted to do all 4 seasons but there's really only 2 where I live lol. Fall and spring are just prerequisites 😭 and I also felt if I made more, my mother would inevitably put her negative energies on them and I'm so serious about energies. Especially anything in my spaces 🤺 I do think this is like... One whispered sentence away from being a proper spell jar, of what spell idk, but i just find it cute

MC: Protection Magic Basics
Here is a summary of my "homework" from Mini Course "Protection Magic Basics". Lesson 1 Activity: I would like to feel like my home is more protected. While I don't feel any negative energies in our current home and we don't have many visitors or guests, we live in an apartment and so there are many people within a small distance. I'd like to be sure that we are protecting which energies enter our home. Lesson 2 Activity: I took a shower, and imagined negative energy leaving my body along with the dirt as I cleansed and rinsed off. I cleaned up my desk, which has been my main area for tarot readings and where I do a lot of other mentally-involved tasks. Both myself and area felt lighter and stronger in their purposes after the cleanings. Lesson 3 Activity: I carried a small piece of silver sheen obsidian in my pocket. I did this activity with the Lesson 5 Activity, though in hindsight i probably shouldve done them on separate days. Luckily, the obsidian and the sigil seemed to provide different support. Throughout the day, when I felt I needed a recharge of my personal protective field, i touched the stone as I imagined it regenerating and strengthening. Lesson 4 Activity: The protective light field felt warm and comforting and uplifting. I imagined negative energy and thoughts bouncing off of the light field. Lesson 5 Activity: Based on the purpose of this lesson, I created a "protect" sigil and wrote it on a piece of paper which I kept in my pocket along with the obsidian from Lesson 3. Through my work day, I felt an invisible energy barrier between me and a coworker that has had some toxic and draining energy lately. I left work feeling light and ready to accomplish more errands and chores. Lesson 6 Activity: I will be making a ward for our home and I will refresh it monthly, or more often as needed.

MC: Divination for Beginners
This is my "homework" from the activities in Mini Course "Divination for Beginners". I attached photos of some items I used for the activities. Lesson 1 Activity: What change is in my future that I am unaware of? Lesson 2 Activity: I have two new tarot decks I have not worked with yet. I will be shuffling them to connect with each deck before diving into readings. Lesson 3 Activity: I looked at a string of felt beads. It is a cat toy that we are using as a garland on our ofrenda de mascotas. I originally chose it because the bright colors reminded me of the traditional dia de lost muertos decor. After looking at itbfor this activity, it symbolizes a few things: finding beauty in everything, even in the sorrow of losing a beloved pet; the variation of color and slight variation in shape also represent how each day with our pets is different and unique but together they become something beautiful; the string also has slight curves and waves in it, which represent the journey of grief - it never leaves but some days the waves are higher and sometimes they're easier to cope with. Lesson 4 Activity: I spent 5 minutes watching a flame. Frustration, peace, dichotomy, dancing lovers, longing, reaching, lantern, fireplace, water droplet, petals Lesson 5 Activity: I do most of my tarot readings at my desk. I often listen to forest sounds, have a small candle lit, and use strings lights on the wall in front of me for my main lights ounce. Lesson 6 Activity: I did a one card tarot reading, and asked the cards to help me determine how to approach a difficult conversation with someone I am close to. I pulled the Two of Swords, which to mean means the cards are aware I have been avoiding this conversation for a while and the way forward is to take my blinders off, face this conversation head-first, but be curious and open to information shared with me that I may not be aware of. I feel much more confident broaching this topic now that I have a kick in the pants from the cards to just do the damn thing.
