Introduce yourself 👋 Connect, ask questions, share wins
This community is yours. Use it. A lot of you told me you want to connect with each other, not just hear from me. So here's the open door: post here anytime. To kick it off, drop a comment with: 1. Your name and what you do 2. Who your ideal client is 3. One thing you're working on right now, or one win from this week Then reply to at least two other people. That's where the referrals and partnerships start. From here on, you don't need permission to post: - Ask a question. Stuck on content, an offer or a sales conversation? Ask it here. - Share a win. Big or small. A booked call counts. - Make a connection. If you know someone who can help another member, make the intro. I'll go first in the comments. — Armando
Toxic Passivity
Toxic passivity is characterized by an avoidance of healthy conflict. Healthy conflict is addressing issues directly and respectfully with another person or group. Unhealthy conflict is dealing with problems indirectly - such gossip, capitulating, enabling, or assigning difficult conversations to other people. Healthy conflict moves a business forward. Unhealthy conflict keeps a business in a loop because issues don't get fully resolved. Conflict is necessary in a law firm because there are competing interests within the operational mechanism. For example, the marketing, sales departments, and case management teams have the same macro goals, but their micro goals are different. This can create tension, frustration, and blame. Here are some healthy ways to address conflict: - Don't be afraid to address issues that are harming the business. - Deal only with the people or groups who are directly involved. - Make space for collaborative differences in micro-goals while committing to macro goals. - Avoid capitulating or enabling when team members get offended.  - Focus on what's best for the business, not just for yourself or your team. If you find yourself talking about the issue with people who aren't involved or otherwise campaigning for your point of view, you're already outside the structure of healthy conflict. Conflict can be productive and lead to greater health. This weekend, try healthy conflict at home. Let me know how it goes! Here's to Your Weekend! Mastermind Recap: Stop Overthinking and Start Showing Up
This week's Content Into Clients Mastermind was all about one thing: Taking action. AI can give people information. What people really want is results, solutions, and a strategy they can actually follow. And that's exactly what we're building inside this mastermind — personal brands, referral partnerships, visibility, and deal flow that ultimately help you close more deals. Here are some of the biggest takeaways from the session: 1. Your Personal Brand Needs "Time on Brand" People need to experience you repeatedly before they feel comfortable buying from you. We're no longer talking about just a handful of touchpoints. The more people consume your content, hear your ideas, and see how you help others, the more familiar and trustworthy you become. That's time on brand. And that's why consistent content matters. 2. Make It Crystal Clear What You Do If people don't immediately understand what you do, who you serve, and what result you provide, you're making it harder for them to buy. Confused people don't buy. Even if you have multiple services and capabilities, your message shouldn't feel like a firehose of information. The goal is clarity. Who do you help? What problem do you solve? What result do you create? If you haven't dialed this in yet, that's your homework. 3. Sell the Result — Not the Service This came up again and again. People don't necessarily care about your business or all the things you can do. They care about the result. Your job is to communicate the transformation you help create and develop enough conviction around that result that your prospects can confidently say, "Yes, this is what I need." 4. AI Is a Tool — But You're Still the Thought Leader We also had a great discussion about using AI more effectively. One framework shared was CRIT: Context, Role, Interview, Task. Instead of simply asking AI to give you an answer, give it context, assign it a role, let it interview you for more information, and then give it a specific task.
Mastermind Recap: The Trust Recession Is Here. Is Your Personal Brand Ready?
We had some fantastic wins shared during our October 27 Content Into Clients Mastermind! From launching a new live magic show in New Orleans, to turning a corporate proposal into promotional content, and closing five new deals in a single week, members are beginning to see the power of putting themselves out there. But beyond the wins, we had an important conversation about something every business owner needs to pay attention to: The Trust Recession. Here are the key takeaways from our session: 1. We're Living in a Trust Recession With the explosion of AI-generated content, misinformation, and endless information online, people are becoming increasingly cautious about who they trust. As a result, prospects are taking longer to make purchasing decisions. Sales cycles are getting longer, and people are doing more research before committing their money. The solution? Build a personal brand that establishes trust, credibility, and authority before prospects even get on a sales call with you. 2. Your Personal Brand Can Shorten Your Sales Cycle People are more likely to buy from someone they already know, recognize, and trust. When you're consistently sharing valuable content, showcasing your expertise, and demonstrating the results you deliver, you're building confidence in the minds of potential clients. Don't wait until someone is ready to buy before they hear from you. Stay visible and stay top of mind. 3. Stage Time Is More Important Than Perfection Are you still worried about how you look on camera? How you sound? Whether your content is perfect? It's time to move past that. The more you show up, the more confident you become. Creating content also forces you to clarify your message, understand your offer, and communicate your value more effectively. Remember our core KPI: One video every day. Also, look for opportunities to get on podcasts, speak at events, and appear on other people's platforms. All of these activities compound over time. 4. Hyper-Niching Is Becoming More Important

Mastermind Recap: The Sales Process That Can 3X Your Revenue!
What if you could stop chasing random leads and start building a predictable system for generating sales? That was the focus of our October 20 Content Into Clients Mastermind session. We explored a duplicatable sales process designed to help entrepreneurs improve conversions, build stronger referral relationships, and create more consistent revenue. Here are the key lessons from the session: 1. Separate Networking From Selling One of the biggest takeaways was the importance of using a two-call system. Instead of trying to sell during every networking conversation, give each call a clear purpose. Call 1 – Networking: Build relationships, understand the other person's business, identify potential referral opportunities, and offer valuable introductions. Call 2 – Sales: Have a dedicated conversation with interested prospects, understand their challenges, present your solution, and close the deal. The principle is simple: Give value first, build trust, and earn the opportunity to sell. 2. Build Relationships With 3–4 Strategic Referral Partners You don't need hundreds of referral partners to grow your business. You need a few strategic relationships with people who already serve your ideal clients but offer complementary services. Think about it: Three or four strong referral partners could potentially introduce you to hundreds of qualified prospects over time. Focus on building genuine relationships rather than collecting contacts. 3. Build Your Personal Brand With an 80/20 Content Strategy People do business with people they know, like, and trust. That's why we discussed the importance of balancing your content: 80% Personal Content: Share your interests, hobbies, experiences, travels, and personality. Let people connect with the person behind the business. 20% Business Content: Share your expertise, solutions, insights, and the results you help clients achieve. Your content shouldn't always feel like a sales pitch. Build relationships first, and let your expertise reinforce your credibility.
