Hello everyone! I’m Daniel, parent of a 6-week-old. I always imagined raising my children in an environment similar to the one I grew up in, but the world has changed so much in the last 30–40 years. Playing outside with friends, socializing without social media or cell phones, even board games, those things feel far less common now. I’m really interested in alternatives that encourage learning and play without constant screens, and I’d love to hear what’s worked for others.
