Belonging starts within
🌿 Most of us were never taught how just to be. We learned how to try. How to improve. How to become. And at some point, even rest started to feel unsafe. 🤍 This space is not here to push you. Or to turn you into someone else. It’s a place to slow down. To soften the effort. To stay with yourself — even when that feels unfamiliar. ✨ Belonging doesn’t start when you’re ready. It starts when you stop leaving yourself. You don’t have to know how to be. 🌱 We’ll remember together.

Why "Belonging" is more than just a word
The recent tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., has left many of us reflecting on the state of our world. As news outlets focus on the details of the attack that took nine lives, including a mother and her young son, I find myself sitting with a different question: How do we catch those who feel they have nowhere to belong? For years, I served in a school community, pouring my heart into the children because I remembered what it felt like to be misunderstood and alone as a child. I believed that love and emotional connection were the most powerful tools I could offer. However, when I wasn't selected for a permanent role, the feedback I received was eye-opening. I was told that I was "too loving" and that the school needed people with "authority." That moment was a turning point for me. It made me realize that our systems often prioritize rigid control over the very thing that heals: human connection. It showed me that many of our institutions are teaching us to "fit in" by silencing our true selves, rather than teaching us how to truly belong. I created this community, Belonging, because I believe the world is starving for the love I was told was "too much." We aren't just here to talk about mental health; we are here to practice a shift in consciousness. Whether it’s through somatic release or energetic alignment, we are building a space where you don't have to change who you are to be seen. The tragedy in Tumbler Ridge is a painful reminder that when someone feels completely disconnected, darkness grows. Our mission here is to be the light that says: You are seen. You are heard. You belong.

Tired of being in hibernation? Let’s bring the heat back. ❄️🔥
I know how it feels. The Canadian winter is long, and it’s heavy. Without realizing it, we start to contract. We pull inward, we dim our light, and we put on "masks" just to get through the day. But you aren't meant to stay frozen. I’m hosting an in-person event for our Belonging community here in [City Name]. This isn't a workshop to "fix" you or a seminar to "change" you. It’s a space to remember you. We are going to move, shake off the winter stress, and reconnect with that vibrant energy that usually gets buried under layers of wool and "to-do" lists. What to expect: Somatic Release: Shaking off the physical tension of the cold. Vibrant Connection: Real conversations that go beyond "How’s the weather?" The Belonging Frequency: A warm, Mexican-inspired atmosphere to ignite your inner spark. Come as you are. Leave feeling like yourself again.
