Growing a community from social media invites
I love the posts about the mission and movement being most important in growing the community.
I see how Travis takes IOI's from posts, polls, emails etc and turns those into leads through conversation.
I'm curious... Let's say you're trying to grow your community using social media like fb or linkedin but you don't have much of an audience on either. So you're making new connections.
Has anyone experimented with how quickly you're making the invite to the community to new connections?
One way is dming your new connections with an invite to the community upfront using some version of the best opener for cold outreach Travis recommends in Leads On Demand funshop 3.
Another way is you start a conversation with a new connection, have some back and forth than make the invite to the community.
Just curious if anyone is finding they prefer one over the other or some other way I'm not thinking of?
