Flames need oxygen to thrive.
Simplicity is our oxygen.
Complexity chokes out oxygen.
I can run my communities with my iPhone.
I’m doing it now.
With my first cup of coffee beside me.
I feel like I’m talking to my friend.
Simple.
It requires no motivation.
If I had to start “vibe coding” or “prompt engineer” some shizzle the complexity would strangle my fire.
To make money.
I make fun!
I can run a fun poll.
I can run a fun auction.
The more fun I create the more money dances through the door.
My community members learn best in a fun environment too!
Simple.
When it feels heavy and I need to pump myself up to “do it”, I know I’ve gone to the “complex” side.
I can grow my community just by asking other community members to share.
Sure, I can give them recognition, prizes and commish.
Skool makes that simple for me.
I can have 101 members promote the community and I don’t need to get bogged down in the complexity of sending out 101 checks, doing 101 1099s or any complex accounting because Skool takes care of it for me.
So I can sit here tapping out a note to you while sipping my coffee with my cat sitting next to me. 🐈
I outsource my complexity to Skool.
I outsource my accounting complexity to my bookkeeper and accountant.
I outsource anything complex I can’t eliminate.
Because I eliminate and outsource complexity.
Life is good.
I keep it simple.
The hardest thing about a simple life is keeping the door shut on complexity.
That bastard wants to come in!
Complexity is a thirsty vampire.
It needs to be invited in.
It’s got all kinds of ways to trick you into giving him an invitation.
“AI is so cool! Don’t you want to be the cool kid?”
“Try Crypto trading! Make millions in a meme coin! What could go wrong?”
“Coach 100 people! Put the problems of 100 people on your shoulders! Impact man!! You can juggle your problems and 100 other people’s problems too! Don’t be a wussy!”
😂
I felt light headed from lack of oxygen just typing that.
Keep it SIMPLE!
Keep complexity OUT!
It will creep in.
Don’t judge yourself.
We don’t judge ourselves when we need to trim our toenails, get a haircut or do the laundry.
Root out complexity like we take out the trash!
Be ruthless in removing complexity and keeping life and business SIMPLE!
Rooting for Ya,
Travis
