Question for the Coders
As I mentioned in a previous post, I want to have a proper stab at programming when my C64U lands. Ideally I'd like to try my hand at assembly but I realise I should start with the BASICs (see what I did there? 😁)
I have the C64 User's Guide and the Programmers Reference Guide along with the complete set of INPUT magazines.
What other books or resources would you recommend? I'd like to do it old school on the actual system where possible. I know there's cross development. Is there something like the C64 PRG Studio available for Linux?
