Welcome: Start Here
Welcome. This community is for executive men who lead at work and at home, and who are done putting themselves last. We focus on four areas: health and energy, transitions, leadership, and home and relationships. Start here: 1. Introduce yourself in the comments: your role, and where you are in life right now. 2. Name the one area you want to work on first. 3. Pick one small action for this week and report back in Wins & Experiments. Direct conversation, evidence-informed coaching, no hype. — Manu Velanegra, PCC

Change check in.
Write three lines in the comments: 1. The change you're in right now, or the last big one you went through. 2. The habit that kept you steady, or the one you lost. 3. One action you'll take before Friday. Discussion: When life changes on you, what's harder, losing the structure or losing the identity?

Pressure drill for this week.
The next time bad news lands, run three steps in the first 90 seconds: name the fact, state the next step, assign one task. Then come back here and report how it went. Discussion: When pressure hits, what's your default? Do you go quiet, go loud, or go straight to work? Be honest.

Week ahead.
Before Monday, write down one priority for the week. Not five. One. Then name the one habit that protects it, like sleep, training, or a hard stop at dinner. Discussion: What is your one priority for this week, and what habit protects it? Post it below so the group can hold you to it.

Coach the managers first
Quick one for the leaders and coaches here. The trend right now: companies want managers coaching their people. Meanwhile Gallup puts manager engagement at 22%, and 43% of middle managers report burnout. We are asking the most depleted people in the building to develop everyone else. Here is the part most people miss: the patterns that get someone promoted (perfectionism, saying yes to everything, all or nothing thinking) are often the same ones that burn them out once they are managing. Rest alone does not rewire that. Seeing the pattern does. If you lead leaders, or you are in the middle of that squeeze yourself: what is one belief about delegation or rest you have had to unlearn in your career, and what replaced it?
