Introduction
Hey, my name's Jaden and I'm 14 years old. I'm currently underweight and looking to make a change. I know that eating enough calories and protein is the main part if I want to gain weight, but I don't have access to meal prepping or consistently nutritious meals.
So I'm wondering - does it still make sense to work out if I'm not eating enough? I've been doing the beginner routine from this community and some basic bodyweight exercises for the past few months, although a bit inconsistently. I’ve gained a little bit of weight, but it feels slow since again not really eating enough.
Also, I don’t have a pull-up bar. Is it okay to stick with other bodyweight exercises, or is a pull-up bar essential for real progress?
Just wanted to introduce myself and get some advice - thank you for reading!
