My Update
Hi everyone! I launched my Skool community this week and — despite not quite feeling ready — I already have some members, which is exciting. I also have a small waiting list building ahead of my soft launch.
I've made a start on the classroom with a few resources and a couple of active topics, and I've already had a great question from a new member that sparked some solid content.
My main question is around content strategy at this early stage. I'm building with a freemium model in mind (sooner rather than later), so I'm conscious about not giving too much away too soon — but I also want to look credible and established enough to attract and retain members.
I'm leaning toward a drip-feed approach — partly to protect my time and energy as a solopreneur, and partly because I genuinely believe in a building-blocks method for learning. But I'd love some guidance on:
❓How much content is enough to look the part at launch?
❓How frequently should I be adding new content at this stage?
❓Any tips on balancing free vs. paid content when freemium is on the horizon?
Thanks in advance — really appreciate any advice from those who've been here before! 🙏
