📌 PINTEREST THURSDAY: Share Your Pins (13 Aug) 📌
📌📌 SPONSORED BY PINTEREST SKOOL 📌📌 Something that has made a big difference for me in growing my coaching business is PINTEREST. Pinterest works very differently from social media. You create a pin around topics and keywords your clients are already searching for. Then your content can keep showing up over time and bring people into your world. Someone might search for help with confidence, habits, mindset, burnout, boundaries, health goals, business support, or whatever you help people with... and your pin can appear in front of them at the point they are looking for support. One thing I like about Pinterest is that your content can keep working for you over time. A post on social media often disappears quickly. A pin can keep getting found weeks or months later. Pinterest has been the main way I’ve brought traffic into my work. It helped me grow my email list to over 4,000 subscribers and it has also helped bring coaches into this Skool community 😊 🎉 PINTEREST THURSDAY continues today 🎉 How it works: - Share 1 - 3 of your Pinterest pin links in the comments - Visit other members' pins and like, comment or save a few that fit your interests - Leave a reply here once you've supported someone 📌 Want help growing a Pinterest account or completely new to Pinterest? 👉 A great place to start is Pinterest Skool (←my affiliate link 🥰) 🎉 Head over there and start with the Pin to Profit Roadmap course 🎉

What are you working on this week? (7 Sep)
My eldest two go back to university at the end of this week, so I’ll mostly be buying enough toiletries, food and random household supplies to see them through a small apocalypse 😂 while also trying to soak up as much time with them as I can before they go. And it’s still Birthday Week here in the Coaching Resource Room 🎂, so I’ve got more giveaways coming your way too. (Don't forget your $50 birthday gift here 😉) What’s YOUR focus this week? Perhaps it’s: ✨ Creating or improving your coaching offer 🌱 Growing your community 📝 Creating resources for your clients 📣 Getting more eyes on your offer 💬 Finding new clients 📚 Learning something new 🛠️ Getting those behind-the-scenes jobs done ☀️ Making some time for yourself too Pop your focus for the week below ⬇️ And let us know if there are any areas you’d like some support 🧡

🎂 IT’S BIRTHDAY WEEK Day 1! 🎉🥳🎈
The Coaching Resource Library is THREE! 🎂 Three years ago, I started collecting all the resources I was creating for coaches into one Library. And it's now packed full with resources for working with your clients, running your coaching business, and marketing and selling your coaching. So I think its 3rd birthday deserves a celebration 🥳 And of course, it wouldn’t be a birthday without a present 🎁 Except this time, YOU get the present. 🎁 I’m giving you $50 towards the Coaching Resource Library For Birthday Week, you can get $50 off lifetime access to the Library 🎂 GET YOUR $50 BIRTHDAY GIFT → HERE And we're going to keep the celebrations going all week here in the Coaching Resource Room 🎉 I've got giveaways, resources from inside the Library, and some fun things for us to do together. The first birthday giveaway starts tomorrow 👀 🎂 🎉 🥳 🎈 🎁 🎊 🧁 🎂 🎉 🥳 🎈 🎊 ✨

Would you go free, freemium, or paid with a new Skool community?
@Tamsin Kaminski asked this question this week in this post, and I wanted to hear what you think. Tamsin is building a Skool community around workplace culture and leadership, with a specific space for female leadership too. So, what would you do? 1️⃣ Free, freemium or paid? Would you start with a free community and give members the option to upgrade once they’ve experienced it? Or would you charge something small, such as $5 a month, from the beginning? If you’ve tried either approach, what happened? 2️⃣ One platform or several? When you’re growing a community, do you concentrate on bringing people in from one main social platform, or do you use several? What has actually worked for you? 3️⃣ How niche would you go? And thank you @Tamsin Kaminski for letting me share your questions with everyone! 🌷

I started with free (as I was building live), when I had my premium tier set up I went to freemium and then when I'd built up the classroom some more and had a small but engaging community I went to paid. I don't think there's one size fits all, it depends on your niche and your end goals. Everyone thinks their way is best and it will be for them but not necessarily for you. Experiment, that's what I did. I made business decisions based on my knowledge of my niche and what I wanted from my community - it works two ways. Here's an outline of my experience for each one - free: brought in the bots and spammers. Freemium: great to build up credibility and numbers. Paid: I'm still getting new members trickling in at the same rate as the free model, but I'm getting engaging members instead and that's quality over quantity. My community is very niche, so I'm not chasing the numbers. I'm building slowly and sustainably, hence paid wins for me. Also, if you want to be found on Discovery and growth boost, paid has its advantages.
