Movement. Strength. Nutrition.
🚶 Movement — walking, getting your steps in, staying active throughout the day. 💪🏼 Strength Training — getting your workouts in, maintaining/building muscle, and getting stronger. 🍽️ Meals & Nutrition — what you’re eating and how much you’re eating. If you’re hitting 3 out of 3, you’re putting yourself in the best position to actually change something. Lose weight, gain weight, change your physique—whatever the goal is. If you’re hitting 2 out of 3, you’re probably closer to maintenance. Maybe your weight moves up or down a little, but you’re likely hanging around the same general area. If you’re only hitting 1 out of 3, it’s going to be tough to make much progress. I think a good rule is: Try to ALWAYS keep at least 2 out of 3 intact. Then, when you’re ready to really chase a goal—lose the weight, tighten things up, or go after a certain look—that’s when you lock in the third piece. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s not easy, but it’s doable, manageable, and trackable. Movement. Strength. Nutrition. Get all 3 working together when it’s time to make something happen.

Friday Thought
Happy Friday, everyone! For a lot of people, Friday can be the biggest deciding day of the week. The choices you make over the next three days can either build momentum or make Monday feel like you’re starting over. Three out of seven days is about 43% of your week. That’s a big chunk of time, and it’s where a lot of progress is either made or lost. Trust me—it’s much easier to earn flexibility after you’ve reached your goal than it is to rely on flexibility to get you there. Enjoy your weekend, but keep your goals in mind. Every decision doesn’t have to be perfect, but enough good decisions, stacked together, will get you where you want to be.

Diet Hack: Make Foods You Like, Not Love
One of the biggest diet hacks I’ve found is this: Make foods you like to eat—not foods you absolutely love. When I’m trying to stay in a calorie deficit and meal prep, I purposely make meals that I enjoy, but I know there are other meals I’d rather have. Why? Because they’re good enough to keep me satisfied, but not so good that I’m tempted to go back for seconds or snack on them all day. That simple strategy makes it much easier for me to stay on track, hit my calories, and stay consistent. It might not work for everyone, but it’s one of the tricks that’s helped me stick to a diet. Find little strategies like this that make staying consistent easier.
