Pointing system gaming
I have a question about the pointing setup. It's obvious this pointing system can be gamed.
Something that has been making me wonder is when some reaches a level 8 or 7, but doesn't actually know or understand ICM at all.
To new community members. This would easy to fall victim with "level 8 skills".
A new member reaches out for help via DM thinking they're a voice of authority, and they're not. And the new member can easily be misdirected.
My question is, is they're a " knighting" or a "promotion" that can only occur from other higher pointed members, to become "a voice of direction (trying to avoid the word authority here)"?
If not, should there be a process like this?
