For the last while CoPilot Co-work has been freely available available in the Microsoft Frontier programme as long as you had standard Co-pilot licences.
That ends now.
Co-Pilot Co-Work has gone GA and we're now in a grace period where we can continue to use CoPilot Co-work but billing must be set up by the 30th of June.
The AI Wild West is ending and the cost of infrastructure is coming home to roost. This is going to make ICM even more important, in my opinion, because it allows one to extract maximum value from one's AI usage by careful context structuring and the use of simple but effective markdown guidelines and guardrails.
I am hearing all kinds of rumours about pricing and they are certainly using a measurement called a co-pilot credit at one cent per credit but how that relates to actual token usage and task accomplishment remains to be seen.
