๐Ÿšจ New one in the NLP Logix series is live ๐Ÿšจ
Sat down with Katie Bakewell, a data scientist who's been building this since 2011, back when it was still just called "natural language processing" ๐Ÿงฎ She came up through math (DNA computing, time series on commodities) and thinks about problems like proofs, not recipes. What we get into: ๐Ÿชจ The Indiana Jones "build me a chatbot" boulder she ran from in 2023 ๐Ÿšจ The 7 neural nets that "found" a signal that was completely fake ๐ŸŽ๏ธ A $5M Pagani vs a $100 Toyota, and why "best" is a trap ๐Ÿค– The first chatbot was built in 1966 (ELIZA)... these aren't new ideas ๐Ÿฌ Meta's SAM3 turning hours of labeling dolphin fins into a single prompt ๐Ÿง  Why half the companies asking for AI are solving the wrong problem โ–ถ๏ธ Go watch ๐Ÿ’ฌ Then drop a comment: What surprised you most, or what would you have asked her? Happy learning ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿค NEW: The Connection Hub is live
๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to the Connection Hub - The Vault ยท Clief Notes So I was on the onboarding call this today, and one thing kept coming up that I couldn't stop thinking about: The biggest value of this new age isn't just the tools. It's the people. ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Specifically โ€” people who understand AI the way THIS community teaches it. Not "prompt hacks" and not "10x your output" nonsense, but actually building systems, thinking in workflows, and treating AI like a real part of how you work. That's a rare group. And a lot of you told me the same thing: ๐Ÿ’ฌ "I'd love to work with someone who gets this." ๐Ÿ’ฌ "I want to break into [industry] but don't know anyone in it." ๐Ÿ’ฌ "Who else here does what I do?" So instead of letting those connections happen by accident... I built a place for them. ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to the Connection Hub - The Vault ยท Clief Notes It's a simple set of pages, split by industry. You find your corner, drop a quick intro about what you actually do and what you're looking for, and connect with people who speak your language.
LEGAL Exercises: Formal Demand Letters
The things we have to do as entrepreneurs... it took 3 hours of my time away from development this morning, but it was a wonderful and well documented journey, should I need to send such communications in the future. Multiple AIs including Claude could not generate a sufficient product in this area; manual editing was required and my Demand Letter is now work of art! ๐Ÿคฃ Now back to the real work!
๐Ÿš€ I built an open-source GoHighLevel alternative โ€” here's why
Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹ Quick question โ€” how much are you paying monthly for your CRM right now? 297?297?497? More? I got tired of paying a SaaS tax just to manage contacts, pipelines, and appointments for my agency clients. So I started building my own. It's called OpenLevel โ€” and I just open-sourced it. I wanted to build this as a true foundation that you can tailor to your exact needs. Why? Because your CRM should adapt to you, not the other way around. It's the same way Jake teaches ICM to his needs: depending on what you are doing or building, your ICM can have adjustments, additions, or subtractions... as long as it serves you. OpenLevel gives you that flexible starting point so you can build exactly what your operations require, without being locked into someone else's opinionated structure. ๐Ÿ”ง What it does: โ€” Contacts & CRM with custom fields โ€” Pipeline & deal tracking โ€” Calendar & appointment booking โ€” Multi-tenant (manage multiple client locations) โ€” Built-in AI assistant that actually understands your data ๐Ÿ— How it's built: โ€” React frontend + Hono backend โ€” One API powering both web app AND mobile app โ€” Deterministic automations first (n8n, webhooks), AI where it counts โ€” Follows the 60/30/10 methodology โš ๏ธ Fair warning: This is a V1 work-in-progress. The web app works but might have some rough edges. Mobile app is still cooking. But the foundation is rock solid. The whole point is: you own your stack. No more white-label fees. No more praying Zapier doesn't break at 2am. Fork it, customize it, make it yours. ๐Ÿ”— GitHub: https://github.com/jahfeelautomation/openlevel Would love your feedback โ€” what features would YOU want to see next?
