Best way to structure knowledge files — PDFs vs. broken-down markdown?
Just been speaking with clief agent and it suggested to get the commntiy thought's on this..
I'm building a client lifecycle system that needs to reference compliance rules, product definitions, and writing standards.
Should I:
- Upload full PDFs/Word docs as-is?
- Break them into smaller markdown segments by topic?
- Something else?
What have you tested that actually works at scale?
