Greeting, I've been building model kits most of my life, but have taken a few years off from the hobby (collage, marriage, work) discovered 3d printing and I am excited to jump back in even though I'm a bit rusty. Happy to re-learn skills and pass on anything I know from the past.

Testing out my new-to-me Nikon D200, so I decided to reshoot a few of my recent builds properly with a black background. I’m honestly really happy with how these came out. Despite being on the older side of DSLRs, the look gives the models a realistic look, and I especially like how it captures the weathering. Can’t wait to start photographing proper dioramas with this setup once I get around to building some scenes. I just wanted to say hello to all of the new members we've gotten over the last few days - thank you for joining, it's awesome to have you here. I've been regrouping over the last few days after finishing the last project, and I've got a few cool ideas in the chamber, both in terms of next projects, and informational videos. My plan is to get out less formal, behind-the-scenes style explanations on here, for topics like the photo-etching, cutting carbon decals, 3D printing, etc. I figure we don't need to focus as much on production quality as raw information here, so keep a lookout for those coming soon. I'll add a poll onto this post to see what has the most interest on those topics. I took out the Alpha Model Ferrari F12 to keep busy with, and it's actually quite nice! So if you are interested in the Alpha Model style resin kits, let me know. I may do a quick video with my thoughts on it soon. But enough rambling - here's that kit, but plus a few pictures of possible next "big projects" to come. I was lucky enough to score an MFH F40 GTE, and that blue Pilot livery won't get out of my mind... Pick a topic you'd be most excited to get some tutorials on!
