I'm pretty new to machine knitting - I've had my Addi 46 pin for a couple of weeks now. I'm absolutely loving it and I've been looking for a 22 pin Addi. The cheapest I've found is $125 on Amazon; I only paid $85 for my big one (yes, it was new - I had a 50% off deal from American Express).
I do see the Sentro 22 needle ones for significantly less - like under $30. I know the Addi is probably worth the extra money - get what you pay for and all that - I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with the Sentro 22 pin? I have no plans to sell the things I make; I will be using these machine for items to donate to shelters and such and I like the options having a smaller machine would give me.
Opinions? Would I just be throwing that $30 away and should I just wait and save up for the Addi?
AND - how different are they to use? Is it no big deal to go back and forth between an Addi and a Sentro?
Thanks for helping me decide! :)
