I am winding balls for my sweater project that I am just beginning.
While I wind yarn I am thinking about what style of sweater I want to make, will I put a collar, hood, both, a border.
Slowly the details are becoming clearer at least in terms of the big picture.
Thank you for including all the worksheets for download. I can feel my confidence building as I wind balls. My investment in a Premium membership is paying off everyday. It gives me the conditions (community and resources) to succeed.
I have two balls wound now and I have no idea how much yarn I need yet. So I will wind 5 for now.
As usual, after I wind the ball I weigh it and record the weight on a tag that identifies what it is (POL) and the weight.
As you can see I wound both balls to the exact same weight.
I wound one yesterday and one today, hours after each other. I weighed both of them today, one after another.
